Okay, so picture this: it's 2026, I'm wandering around the Great Red Sand in Sumeru, minding my own business, looking for a good scrap and some shiny Primogems. Suddenly, I stumble upon this fancy-looking door set into a cliff. "A Domain! Free loot!" I think, as any sane Traveler would. I saunter up, ready to waltz right in and claim my prizes. The door, of course, slams shut in my face. Metaphorically. There was no actual door, just a very stubborn, very locked magical barrier. Turns out, this is the infamous Garden of Endless Pillars, and it's not about to let just anyone in. My ego was bruised, but my determination was ignited. Time for a puzzle.

First things first, you gotta get there. I teleported to the Waypoint in the Land of Lower Setekh and started marching west. The landscape here is... aggressively sandy. After a short trek, I found the place. And let me tell you, it looked less like a 'Garden' and more like a 'Pyro Monument Convention Held in a Ruin.' There were these stone pillars with fire symbols on them (the Pyro Elemental Monuments) just chilling, and each one was surrounded by a different number of those glowing red Pyro Flowers. The game was whispering a riddle: Light them up, but in order. My brain, being the genius organ it is, initially thought, "Ooh, alphabetical order!" Then I remembered flowers don't have names. The real clue was the flower count. You start with the loneliest monument and work your way up to the most popular one. Simple, right? Ha.

The Order of Operations (Or, How I Stopped Worrying and Loved the Pyro):

  1. The Loner: The first target is the monument with zero Pyro Flowers. It's right at the front, looking a bit sad and forgotten. I felt a kinship with it. A quick zap with my trusty Pyro character (Amber, my old reliable) and it lit up. One down!

  2. The Cactus Companion: Next, I headed to the very back on the right. This monument had one Pyro Flower and a prickly cactus for company. I lit it. The cactus did not react, which was probably for the best.

  3. The Wallflower (Literally): I ran back towards the entrance area. The third monument was hiding to the left of a broken wall, shyly backed by two Pyro Flowers. Fwoosh. Lit.

  4. The Popular Kid: Just across from the last one was the monument with three Pyro Flowers hanging out in front. It was clearly the social hub of the area. I ignited it with a sense of justice, bringing fiery order to its popularity.

  5. The Flower King/Queen: Finally, the grand finale. At the very back was the monarch of the meadow, surrounded by a grand total of four Pyro Flowers. With a dramatic final shot, I activated it.

A glorious rumble shook the ground, and the Domain barrier vanished! But the game wasn't done rewarding my basic puzzle skills. An Exquisite Chest popped into existence right then and there, just for solving the outdoor puzzle. It was like getting a participation trophy before the main event. I'll take it!

Now, for the main attraction. I strode into the Garden of Endless Pillars, feeling mighty proud of myself. The Domain itself is a one-time challenge. Here's the juicy part you all care about—the loot table for clearing it:

Reward Item Quantity Why It's Great (My Commentary)
Primogems 40x The real treasure. The reason we do anything.
Hero's Wit 2x Tasty character EXP. Nom nom.
Adventure EXP 500x Gets me closer to that next AR level and its rewards.
Dendro Sigil 5x For shopping at the Tree of Dreams!
Mora 30,000x Money makes the Teyvat world go 'round.
Mystic Enhancement Ore 4x Weapon food.
Gambler's Pocket Watch 1x An artifact for those who like to live... riskily.
Teachings of Praxis 3x Talent level-up material for our Sumeru scholars.

And that's not all! Inside the Domain, there are chests to open as you complete the challenges, which net you even more Primogems, Sigils, and EXP. A very important pro-tip, though: BRING A DENDRO CHARACTER. I learned this the slightly embarrassing way. Some of the mechanisms inside require Dendro, and trying to brute-force them with other elements is like trying to eat soup with a fork—frustrating and messy. I had to teleport out, grab Nahida, and come back. Don't be like past me.

So, was it worth the minor mental gymnastics and the Dendro-related hiccup? Absolutely. For a relatively simple puzzle, the payoff is solid, especially for those precious Primogems. The Garden of Endless Pillars is a perfect example of Genshin's classic exploration loop: see a thing, get confused by the thing, solve the thing, get showered with rewards for your trouble. It's a satisfying little package tucked away in the sands of Sumeru. Now, if you'll excuse me, those Primogems aren't going to wish for themselves. 🎉
